Financial Controller (12 Month FTC)

TitanHQ is looking for an experienced, astute, and proactive Financial Controller to join our Finance Department on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position is of central strategic importance to the business and offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high-growth Irish SaaS business. In this position you will be given the opportunity to problem solve, drive process improvements, and use insights to influence business decisions while leading a strong financial operations team. The right candidate will have exceptional communication skills, will be adept at moving fast, while always ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Preparation of monthly management accounts, working capital and cash flow management.

·        Ownership of financial reporting systems and process, ensuring tight internal controls.

·        Working closely with the CFO to deliver sound financial reporting and to provide analysis and insights which support executive level decision-making.

·        Partnering with FP&A in analysing business performance and adherence to budget.

·        Timely identification of financial risks and opportunities.

·        Ongoing development and implementation of financial controls and accounting policies.

·        Regulatory and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

·        Preparation of year end accounts and acting as primary contact for company auditors.

·        Managing, motivating, and developing the Finance team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·        Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE.

·        Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities at one time.

·        Commercial acumen, good judgement, team player and highly organised.

·        Thorough understanding and experience of the creation and management of financial control processes in line with strong corporate governance and best practice.

·        A hands-on, self- starter who is comfortable working in a small team environment.

·        Experience managing and motivating a team.

·        Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
